Alaska — The Last Frontier

On one of Morrnah’s trips to Alaska, she once told me: “You know, Alaska was almost the 50th state — but Divinity told me it wasn’t to be, because Hawaii needed to be the 50th state. Fifty means freedom,” she said. “Freedom comes from Hawaii — first to the United States, then to the rest of the world.”

So there you have it. Alaska, the 49th state. Thank you, Morrnah.

Once, when I was in Hawaii, Morrnah told me: if you watch the lava, it will change you. At the end of last year I was inspired to spend some time doing just that.

I share this experience carefully. When I first started going to classes, they would tell us: this tool is just for this class — or, this tool is just for you. So I am not saying this is true for anyone besides me. This was said to me.

While I was there I kept cleaning, and I would say to Pele and Kaʻī: if I am supposed to leave, please let me know in a way I cannot miss. (I thought I would give that a try. HA.)

One day, after about four months of hanging out at the volcano, tephra — lava rock — began to land around where I was standing, and on my car.

I heard it. That was my Let’s GO! HA.

    How to open an area as we build it

    Near the top of this file there is one list called BUILD — one line per section, each set to live, building, or hidden. That list is the only switch. Change a word, republish, and the section opens, shows a build chip, or disappears.

    live — finished; no chip, nothing to say.
    building — visible with an amber chip so you can see it taking shape.
    hidden — not on the page at all, and dropped from the menu.

    The menu at the top builds itself from the same list, so a hidden section can never leave a dead link behind.
